Yes, I'm making real wine, no honey!
12 pounds of blackberries
4 pounds of sugar
yeast nutrient today.
Tomorrow morning, when the berries are fully thawed, I plan to add the yeast, Red Star Champaign. Will also add more sugar tomorrow night, another five pounds. Hoping for a three gallon batch, will add more lackberries in secondary.
2/19/12 Racked off of blackberries and added two more pounds of sugar. Fermentation did not take off super fast...
